[Richard's Typhoon Page]

I bought my '93 Typhoon back in May of 1998 from a second owner in Seattle, Washington. It had 18,124 original miles on it at the time of purchase. It took me about six weeks to search for a white/white one since white/white was my favorite color combination.

My Typhoon was pretty much stock when I bought it. I did some performance and reliability upgrades since then. Check out the 'Modifications' link below to find out the enhancements that I have done to my Typhoon. My Typhoon used to be my daily driver until I bought a Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe in mid August of 2001.

For those who are not familiar with the Typhoon, it is a limited production, kick-ass, low-slung, turbocharged all-wheel drive Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. It does a standing quarter mile in 14.1 seconds. The Typhoon is the fastest production SUV on this planet, period. Heck, it's even faster than most sport cars on the road. GMC only made 2,500 of these rockets in 1992 and 2,200 in 1993.
