Here is an easy way to remove a stubborn rotor from the distributor shaft without busting knuckles or drawing blood, and it should take no more than a few seconds. No special tool is needed because every Sy/Ty owner already has the tool shown below in his or her glove box. Since I usually tap my rotor all the way down, this is the only way for me to remove it. Of course, you can also use a mini pry bar.
